Making art with and in nature (7-12 years)
In the context of themes such as sustainability, landscape experience, nature, litter and transience, Dorieke Schreurs has developed a workshop around LandArt. This means that the children will make art from natural materials on location. This ties in with her work as a visual artist and researcher, with a focus on sustainability and cradle-to-cradle work.
Goal: In this workshop, the children are challenged to look differently at natural materials and at their own living environment. They also learn the difference between leaving perishable materials behind and litter.
Content: based on examples by LandArt artist Andy Goldsworthy and a short instruction, the children (in groups or individually) set to work to realize their own LandArt work of art. The artworks are digitally recorded.
Costs: €15.00 per workshop, including all materials, drinks and healthy snack.
